A new cardiac defibrillator takes flight, literally.

Finally a drone that is designed to bring life to people.   The  “Ambulance Drone” has a commercial automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) attached to it and actually will fly to the person who needs help.   When it lands, its propellers fold back to get out of the way and electrode pads slide out of the nose with easy to understand instructions.  It comes with a camera, microphone, and a speaker so a remote clinician can help navigate the drone and then make sure that the pads are properly applied and the AED is used correctly.  Geez, it even has a handle for easy carrying from the landing site to wherever the person needing help is.  It is not hard to imagine a time where it will be able to pick up the person and take them to a hospital. Beyond spying on celebrities this is best use of a drone that I can imagine.
